    We are currently looking to fill the position of Journeyman HVAC Technician (Service). We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and grow in an industry that is essential to so many. Our business is growing, and we are hiring top people to grow with us.


    As a Journeyman HVAC Technician, you will maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units as well as diagnoses and repair electronic, mechanical components of these systems for commercial, residential and industrial customers while meeting all building codes and safety guidelines. Also, must be able to assist with on-call rotation, emergency service for our customers in a 24/7, 365-day environment.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Journeyman licensure and have proficient knowledge of the HVAC trade with 1-2 years of experience; Will require individuals to join a Union workforce.

    As an Apprentice HVAC Technician, you will assist Journeyman with the installation of all aspects of residential, industrial and commercial HVAC customers.     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prepare cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor, start-up work, and other construction related activities. Bidding on or determining price of project.
    • Review and analyze layout engineering drawings within plumbing, piping, and steam specialties; including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, purified water systems, medical gas systems, natural gas, compressed air and vacuum.
    • Managing multiple full mechanical construction projects of various sizes.
    • Collaborating with field labor supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work.
    • Attention to detail in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas.
    • Develop and use systems to organize and keep track of information and work in progress to ensure quality and efficiency to get the jobs to completion.
    • Oversees job sites to evaluate safety, quality, production and jobsite professionalism; including procedural and regulatory compliance.
    • Requires 10 plus years of experience in the plumbing piping trade.
    • Project management experience a plus.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience should include: plumbing, piping, steam, estimating, project management, bidding, cost control management, client attention and satisfaction, general and subcontractor relationships, and team building.
    • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and or floor plan drawings.
    • Proficient in multiple trades (Specifically Plumbing, Piping, and Steam Systems).
    • Ability to meet deadlines and budgets in a fast paced work environment.
    • High achievement orientation and execution.
    • Experience in Auto-CAD and Rev-it a plus.
    • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • PARTS RUNNER - WAREHOUSE


    Position Summary:


    Deliver parts, preform warehouse operations, assist with inventory control, fill parts orders, assists with shipping and receiving, and other duties as assigned.

    Essential Functions

    • Generally works 8 hours, Monday – Friday
    • Deliver and pick up parts as needed.
    • Perform parts warehouse operations such as sorting, stocking, organizing, cleaning, etc.
    • Load and unload inventory.
    • Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
    • Assist in the shipping and receiving department as needed.
    • Maintain physical condition of warehouse per manager instructions.
    • Assist with inventory in and out, along with deliveries to ensure they are meeting scheduled deadlines.
    • Make sure paper work and purchase orders are complete and accurate.
    • Provide excellent communication with the department managers and employees on and off site.
    • Follow all safety and DOT protocol, whether driving or working on site.

    Requirements

    • Prior driving and/or warehousing experience preferred.
    • Must be dependable, hardworking, organized and an ambitious individual with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Multi-tasking skills with excellent follow up and follow through ability.
    • Good communication skills; written and spoken.
    • Excellent computer skills a plus.
    • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
    • Forklift certification a plus.

  • JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER (SERVICE)

    Reports to: Service Manager


    Mission Statement:

    Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial and industrial settings while meeting all building codes and safety regulations.


    Essential Functions

    1. Report to main shop area each day no later than the start time specified by the Service Manager

    2. Review specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials

    3. Identify required tools and special equipment

    4. Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures

    5. Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment

    6. Assemble and install valves and fittings

    7. Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls

    8. Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs, toilets and plumbing fixtures

    9. Install, repair and maintain water heaters, conditioners, appliances and trim

    10. Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks

    11. Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures

    12. Document all installed equipment: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements

    13. Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer

    14. Availability to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of customers

    15. Maintain good working order and cleanliness of company vehicle, including refueling as necessary and reporting any mechanical issues

    16. Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle

    17. Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met

    18. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded

    19. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate code requirements

    20. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements

    21. Monitor work done by outside contractors for adherence to Plumbing Code Requirements

    22. Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business

    23. Complete all required paperwork and return to Dispatch office in timely manner

    24. Request equipment and supplies in order to maintain inventory and ensure availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair


    Requirements

    1. Journeyman licensure and have proficient knowledge of the plumbing trade

    2. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company insurance policy

    3. Must work cooperatively with other trades

    4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and/or other job specifications

    5. Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen

    6. Ability to lift 25lbs – 50lbs, climb ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces
