This brand new clinic is designed with medical gas for the operating rooms, a VAV system, roof top air handlers and boilers. We were responsible for all the mechanical systems in the building. We also were responsible for the controls, insulation and testing and balancing contractors. This project had a very tight schedule. We installed the mechanical systems on the 84,000 square foot clinic in less than 10 months. Our in house BIM team modeled all of the mechanical systems and provided high level clash detection of our systems. During our BIM coordination we uncovered a few design errors early on which avoided costly rework and schedule delays.
The ability to provide sufficient manpower through our local unions was crucial in completing this project on schedule. Key team members who worked on this project were Ed Thvedt, Adam Thomas and Dave Buzick.
