The University of ND, School of Medicine and Health Sciences project was completed in August of 2016 This mechanical sys-tem is made up air handling units, a VRV system, steam boilers, specialty equipment for the labs and testing rooms. The over-all building square footage is approximately 320,000 sq. ft. This project incorporated the use of building information modeling which was very useful to keep the project schedule on track and minimize the need for change orders and clashes in the field. The use of our Trimble Total Stations was key for inserting the post-tension concrete structure for pipe sleeves and hanger in-serts.
